A power station situated in the Europe Asia Pipeline Company Ltd desalination facility site in Ashkelon. Most of the station’s electricity output is used by the desalination facility in Ashkelon, which enables the reduction of input costs in water generation, and accordingly, the reduction of desalinated water prices in Israel. The rest of the generated electricity is supplied by the station to industrial and commercial establishments located nearby.
