Bon Tour is a transportation group operating in the field of shuttles, public transportation and vehicle importation. It is the largest company in the shuttles industry in Israel, which is characterized by decentralization and by multiple small competitors. This fact gives it significant advantages in terms of size and creates competitive advantages such as flexibility, cost savings, ability of implementing advanced technologies for vehicle fleet management and the ability to compete in tenders with high threshold conditions. Size and reputation allow it, among other things, to take advantage of opportunities to increase the market share through mergers and acquisitions. Part of Bon Tour’s strategy is to grow and unlock value through this activity. The company has a wide range of clients, including large business companies, government entities and many public sector organizations, including local authorities. The company’s engagements are usually in permanent and long-term contracts, following a tender procedure.

Bon Tour owns the public transport company Metropoline, founded in 2000 in response to the opening of the public bus transportation market in Israel to competition. Metropoline operates in the field of public transportation, via both inner-city and intercity buses in four clusters: the Negev cluster, the Sharon cluster, the Ono-Elad cluster and the Sharon-Holon cluster. The field of public transportation benefits from significant state protections, which demonstrate the essential status to the public. They are reflected in a pricing model which is mainly based on payment by the state for each km of travel.

Metropoline’s focus on providing public transportation services in adjacent geographic areas allows it to operate efficiently, to use its size advantage and to achieve operational synergies. With the full operation of the four clusters, Metropoline becomes the second largest public transport company in Israel in terms of the travel volumes.
